Warranty Vault ("the App") is developed by Idealink ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the App does with your information. The short version: we don't collect it.
None. We do not operate any servers that receive data from the App. We have no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporters, and no accounts. We never see your item names, purchase dates, or receipt photos.
Everything you enter — item names, purchase dates, warranty lengths, and receipt photos — is stored on your device. If iCloud is enabled on your device, the App also syncs this data to your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit, so it is available on your other devices and restored if you get a new phone. This data lives in your private iCloud database; Idealink cannot access it. It is governed by Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.
You can stop iCloud sync at any time in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Apps Using iCloud.
The App asks for camera access only when you choose to photograph a receipt, and uses the system photo picker to let you select an existing photo. It does not access your photo library beyond the photo you pick, and images are stored only as described in section 2.
If you allow notifications, the App schedules local reminders on your device before a warranty expires. These are generated on-device and are not sent through any external service.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details. Apple may share anonymized purchase data with us under its standard developer terms; see Apple's privacy policy.
The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Since we collect no information from anyone, this applies universally.
Delete an item by swiping it in the list. Deleting the App removes all local data. To remove synced data from iCloud, go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Warranty Vault → Delete Data.
If we ever change how the App handles data, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. Material changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
